Commercial Loan Advisor

ICS is currently hiring Commercial Real Estate Loan Advisors in major markets nationwide. As a CLA (Commercial Loan Advisor) your primary role is originating multifamily,  investment, and commercial real estate loans. CLA's are 100% commission-based origination contractors that work exclusively with ICS.

Independent Commercial Mortgage Broker

ICS works with Independent Commercial Mortgage Brokers that are established, have their own lending business, and prefer to work under their own company brand.


This is a commission-only position, similar to being a realtor or residential loan officer. You are paid as a 1099 independent contractor.

Commission Comp: $300k - $360k+


Experience & Training:

  • 3-Years residential or commercial mortgage origination and/or 3+ years real estate sales experience.
  • Completed an official Commercial Mortgage Training program with proof of completion, OR have closed 6+ Commercial/Investment loans in the last 12-month period, OR complete the ICS Commercial Mortgage Training Program online, and pass our Commercial Loan Advisor Certification exam.
  • 4-Year College Degree preferred. Minimum 2-Year Associates Degree required (no exceptions).

You will complete our mandatory online Training Program through our Funding & Training Platform. Once completed, you will be eligible for hire. We only hire fully trained Advisors.


  • You must be extremely professional and well-spoken to work in the commercial mortgage lending industry. The majority of your time is spent on the phone, meeting with clients, and interacting with prospects via email, LinkedIn, and through other networking channels. Proper use of industry terminology, loan programs, and market knowledge is critical.

Required Equipment, Software & Technology Skillsets:

  • You must have a PC/Mac and be computer literate. 
  • Familiar with Microsoft Outlook/365
  • You must have a Property & Owner Research Database Service to research properties and ownership groups to uncover refinance, purchase, and new construction opportunities. There are many 3rd party service providers, such as ProspectNow, Reonomy, and Property Radar. ICS provides Property Radar account access to all hired CLA's through our All-in-One Funding & Training Platform at

Financially Stable:

  • Commercial and investment loans can take 30-90 days to close depending upon the deal type and size, and it can take some time to build your pipeline. You should have a minimum of 3-6 months of savings or alternative income.

Quota: $36MM+ per year.
